"Used this line in our front bath. We have two teenage daughters who share this bath - well you can imagine. holds up great, able to scrub for cleaning make-up . I decided to go back and touch up a few spots 4 years later ( based on the label on the lid of the can) - with a foam brush and the color is great - I cannot tell where the touch-ups are, and I have the best eyes in he house. will use more through out our house."

"We just had our entire first floor painted with this paint and what a difference it has made all over. Fortunately we had a painter do all the work, but it is leaps and bounds over the original paint from the builder. So far it seems to really hold up to bangs and rubs and it actually cleans up well from any marks. There was no cleaning up with the other paint. We haven't had to try any touch up yets, but we were warned not to use the samples since they are a different kind of paint. Lucky for us we bought all the paint when the 30% sale was on."

"The paint is extremely durable and coverage is good; however, I would not recommend this to anyone who is bothered by visible brush strokes. I purchased the matte, and you can see every stroke from the roller brush. In my mind, the paint is too expensive for its flaws."

"I have worked with this product in two rooms of my home due to the deep saturated colors that I chose. I learned the hard way in my kitchen that if you flip the roller you WILL get streaks due to the change in nap- what I mean by this is that the metal that connects the handle to the roller should always stay on the same side. You should also start from the bottom, roll up, then roll back down again to prevent streaks. Other than that I am satisfied with the coverage."

"This covers so well, it seems like I will get more than 350 out of a gallon?? Anyone else comment? I am a lousy, messy novice painter and I had no problems. Have to do 2 coats dark going over light, but no streaks. The store was great and matched and adjusted my colors for me. Its very expensive but it made the job easier. It drys very fast too."

"We bought this paint for our master bathroom. We originally used Glidden paint throughout our house when we first moved in and we have learned our lesson about durability. If you scrub our Glidden, it comes off on your rag! We wanted excellent paint for our newly renovated bathroom, so we went to paint experts. We are so happy with Duration! Our tile installers got grout on the walls, our contractor left dirty fingerprints and they all washed right off with just a damp rag! Strangely, the only thing that doesn't seem to come off easily either with wet rag or eraser is pencil. As I was scrubbing at the wall, my husband asked me to see the rag and I assured him that the paint passed the test with flying colors. We are big color people, so there was quite a lot of pigment in this paint (called Kiwi). No impact on scrubability!"

"Wow, we were really impressed with this paint. We only needed one coat of paint to cover our walls. This paint has a nice sheen to it and went on really smooth. SW had run out of the Super Paint we needed so they upgraded us to this and it was great! I'm super please with it. We used Sleepy blue and Meditative."

Nothing Flat About This Paint!!!

"Just got done painting my family room with Duration Matte finish paint. I'm really upset about the shine this paint has. This is much closer to a satin than a flat. If I wanted a satin I would have bought a satin. The description talks about an angle shine...what the heck is that? Please tell me the angle I have to be at to see flat?"

"I agree with everything said by Anonymous, 4-5 posts ago in February. After 3 coats of a bold color in eggshell finish, I couldn't live with the streaky wall in my kitchen and covered it with another brand. An expensive mistake - and this paint spattered more also."

"We have used Duration paints for 5 years now, and always with exceptional results. The paint applies beautifully, looks great and wears like the titanium that's in it. In several settings, the fact the wall reflects differently depending on the angle of light, adds an pleasing depth of character. Highly recommend this paint."

"Used the Duration paint for the first time this past weeked to paint an entire bathroom, ceiling included. After priming (Sherwin Williams Pro-block Oil Based Primer) and letting that dry, the Duration paint went on perfectly. I was amazed at how thick the paint was compared to other brands. There were a couple of spots I missed the first time around so I went ahead and put on a full second coat, otherwise one coat may have been enough. This paint is easy to apply and dries very nice and evenly. I'm a novice painter and am very amazed at how professional this paint looked once dry. 100% happy and satisfied with this product. I would definitely recommend."

"The paint may be durable, but it took 3 coats to get it looking good. First two coats still looked "streaky" - I MUCH prefer using the SW Super Paint ! Will stick with Super Paint in the future."

"As a painter,artist,and interior designer I would have to say that Duration Home is simply the best interior latex paint on the market as of today.It's a step up from SuperPaint. It goes on like silk and acts as silk.One coat,however,will not cover.Once you apply two-or even three if need be-you'll have the best looking walls,etc! This paint makes the walls come alive and breathe."

"We recently used this paint to cover the interior of our home at the recommendation of 3 professional painters. We were not disappointed! This stuff is magic. Several of the rooms only needed one coat, only one of the browner colors needed two coats. The walls wipe off beautifully and the sheen is lovely!"

"Found this paint to be very disappointing to say the least. After priming the trim I was painting it still took anywhere from 3 to 4 coats to cover. I was going over a white prime with a dark tan to golden brown color. I found the paint to be very thin and watery, left many brush strokes. Will not buy it again."
