" I've used several premium exterior paints and this is by far the best. It applies well by brush, roller, or airless spray, and the coverage/protection is excellent.
I painted my house with a dramatic color change, and couldn't be happier with the one-coat coverage. The key in my experience is to adhere to the mil thickness requirements and of the product. This is a thicker paint that requires a heavier application in order to get the correct coverage and protection. While the paint is wet, use a mil gauge at first to verify proper film thickness (the gauges are FREE at most SW stores)- after a little time as you go along, you'll get a feel for it to where you won't need the gauge all the time. Further, this paint flows fairly well so brush/roller marks are minimized (again, at the correct film thickness - thin coats don't flow as well and the undercoating will show through). Don't try an back brush after too long or the paint will drag and leave marks (as with most other paints)!
Overall, excellent paint! Highly recommended. "

Superior Trim, Door, and Cabinet Paint

" I have used this product in satin for all my doors, trim, and painted cabinets. It is far superior than any other similar paint I've tried elsewhere (such as Benjamin Moore or Diamond Vogel)! It doesn't leave brush marks and seems to be more durable than the latex or water based equivalents (it's even difficult to sand when prepping for multiple coats). To those who have had trouble with brush marks and drying time... Make sure you're using a high quality Chinex brush and, most importantly, don't overwork the paint! You have to work somewhat quickly to minimize your brush marks and paint "drag"; don't "back brush" too much. If you're not comfortable working quickly or are inexperienced, try using penetrol to increase your drying time and workability. "

" To the amateur user - don't even try to brush or roll this product; it dries WAY TOO FAST and will leave bad roller and brush marks. I highly recommend airless or HVLP spraying for a smooth finish. For HVLP spray applications, I've had excellent results thinning with mineral spirits and conditioning using Penetrol.
Overall, this is an excellent primer if applied correctly. It sands well and provides an excellent base for an oil-based topcoat of your choice. I mainly use this primer for trim, doors, and any other interior wood painting. "
