" This product was not what I expected from the sales rep's description and product's written description. I was told it was a "high build" product that would fill in cracks and small holes, much like the Kilz product Pro-x High Build. I purchased it tinted, which worked well, but it does not cover dark colors. Strangely enough, stains were created where I used a metal putty knife to apply spackling - they were from the knife and visible only after I primed over them with this product. They could not be covered by this product. It goes on like mayonnaise, slimy and smooth. It was a pleasure to apply. I applied it with a brush and it covered more than stated on the label, so I bought way too much (good thing it was on sale when I bought it!) - not returnable since it is tinted. I think if it was sprayed it would go on thicker, cover better, and use more (of course). So maybe it is actually formulated to spray. I would not purchase this again for a similar project (covering hairline cracks in skim coat of old plaster walls) since I will roll, not spray. I feel a bit misled by the sales rep in that his description did not match the label. The only other product that is labeled for this challenge that I could locate was the Kilz Pro-X High Build. Will try that the next time.
