" Had Pro classic put on our cabinets by a "pro". I don't know if he added anything to it or if he didn't clean or prep the cabinets properly but the paint seemed soft and scraped off easily in some areas with a drag of a fingernail. Ridiculous!
The Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel came out about the time of our problem so I went to Harbor Freight and bought a # 61455 paint gun for $18.99 Got an inline air filter and used my $99 air compressor to paint this on and it actually went on well with no thinning of the paint needed. This surprised me because the paint is thick. The Harbor Freight #61455 spray gun is the only one that I read works with latex that well. I set up workhorses and planks and then used painter pyramids under the bottoms of the cabinet doors (paint bottoms first) and sprayed away. The paint looked thick on the door and drawer fronts initially, but within a couple hours it flattened out and looked great. The paint flattened out so well that I wanted to see how using a brush would come out on a flat surface but it didn't look anywhere near as good as being spayed. By the end of a week the paint cured significantly harder than the pro classic. Very happy with this paint.
