"I had my entire home painted with Cashmere paint by Sherwin-Williams (the painter chose this quality of paint). It looks lovely on the walls but you cannot touch it, brush against it, accidentally scratch it, accidentally wet it, or wipe it! The paint is AWFUL! I want to LIVE in my home, not walk around like I live in a museum, afraid to bump or touch the walls. Cashmere paint streaks when water accidentally touches it; The paint is rough to the touch and absolutely cannot be cleaned at all. I originally wanted semi-gloss paint but the painter said Cashmere was the best, very expensive (but he could get a discount) and looks amazing. I foolishly agreed! I came to find out that Cashmere is very easy to use, especially for inexperienced painters! The water streaks on my walls and random shiny spots and marks are constant reminders that I made a mistake by allowing the painter to use what he wanted. Bottom Line: Stay away from this paint and find a real pro to do the work. And for goodness sake, if you live in a museum and sit it a chair all day just admiring your walls, at least do not allow this paint to touch the walls of any room where there is steam or water!!"
Cashmere Interior Latex glides on buttery smooth and levels out… giving walls an elegant, silky rich look. The result is a difference you can definitely see and feel.
"The paint looks great but don’t get any marks on it or have it in a room where there is steam!!!! The paint streaks if it gets steamy in a room or if it gets wet. It is also not washable as advertised. It is expensive and not worth the price."
