Wood Classic in Walnut Wainscot

" We used this product to stain our hardwood floors three years ago. The stain is very beautiful and easy to work with. We used a sheepskin pad at the end of a long painters stick to apply it. We do have two problems with ours: 1- We only applied two coats of poly and that hasn’t held up to three years of use with two people, two large dogs and a cat. I would recommend at least 4 coats. While this is an application issue and more to do with the poly then the stain I wanted to mention it because in the middle of the living room the stain itself is getting lighter (it is the highest traffic area of the house). 2- The dark color is gorgeous but super hard to keep clean it shows up the tiniest bit of mud and dust bunnies. If at all possible I would recommend a color slightly lighter. Mineral sprits work great to get it off your hands (or sink if you happen to clean your brushes out there without thinking about it). Overall I highly recommend it. "
