Extreme Bond Primer

For surfaces that require a greater degree of adhesion than our standard primers can offer, Extreme Bond Interior/Exterior Primer is up to the challenge. Designed for coating hard, glossy surfaces like tile, glass panels and plastic piping with minimal surface preparation. Can be tinted and is compatible with a full range of finish coat products.

Not good for wood cabinets

" Bought this per "How to Paint Your Cabinets in 5 Easy Steps" on SW website. Used on my light-colored wood kitchen cabinets. I degreased and sanded in preparation. No problems with adhesion, but after two coats, there is still light brown/yellow streaking, which I'm told is wood tannin bleeding through. So now I have to get a different primer and re-prime these areas (and at least 2 days of work have been wasted while living without a kitchen). Would not recommend this primer for wood kitchen cabinets, but may be good for other projects. SW should update their "How to paint your cabinets" article. It does sand nicely though! "
